A dining bar on the 2nd floor of Akarui Hanazono 3rd Street, open since April 2010. 'Toto' means fish, and dried fish and seafood snacks are the focus. A rotating sake selection, glasses from around ¥500. 10 counter seats; open 7pm–5am every day. Perfect for solo drinking or mid-crawl refueling.
Shinjuku Golden Gai is Tokyo's most iconic bar district — 295+ unique bars packed into six narrow alleys in Kabukicho, Shinjuku. A 5-minute walk from Shinjuku Station East Exit, next to Hanazono Shrine. Featured in the Michelin Green Guide, it has been a cultural institution since the 1950s.
