An art and punk bar in Akarui Hanazono 1st Street, established in 2003. Centered on early punk rock, with deep ties to artists like the Sex Pistols and Kinnikushojo-tai. Mexican food and takoyaki available. Daily operation; 7pm–1am (Fri–Sat until 2am).
Shinjuku Golden Gai is Tokyo's most iconic bar district — 295+ unique bars packed into six narrow alleys in Kabukicho, Shinjuku. A 5-minute walk from Shinjuku Station East Exit, next to Hanazono Shrine. Featured in the Michelin Green Guide, it has been a cultural institution since the 1950s.
